Croydon AMU

RKG were appointed to provide design and project management services, from feasibility to practical completion, for the complete fit out of two disused wards in the London wing at Croydon University Hospital. The new Acute Medical Unit provides diagnostic assessment and treatment for people with a medical emergency.

The new facility includes clinical assessment units, short stay wards, diagnostic and treatment areas, ambulatory care and GP practice. Works were completed to a tight 21 week programme for a project value of approx. £1,450,000.
