New Step-Free Access at Harrow-on-the-Hill Station for London Underground
Working with Ramboll UK, Robinson Kenning & Gallagher are undertaking the design and working drawing package for new step-free access.
Harrow-on-the-Hill Station has six platforms, served by the Metropolitan Line and Chiltern Railways providing direct access for nine million passengers annually.
The design entails a new overbridge and linkway to provide direct level access to three new lift towers serving three island platforms directly from the upper Station concourse.
Additionally, a fourth new lift is to be installed at the ‘arcade’ end of the Station to provide step-free access at the north entrance.
