New Residential Scheme to Provide 8no. Flats and Associated Facilities for a Private Client
Planning permission was recently granted for this eight-unit scheme on Brighton Road, Croydon.
The proposal was for a scheme that extended the existing two-storey, seven-bedroom house to create a three-storey building consisting of four three-bedroom, five-person apartments; two one-bedroom, two-person apartments and two one-bedroom, one-person apartments. Associated landscape design, parking facilities for four car spaces, twelve cycle parking spaces and refuse storage were also included.
The intention was to design a high-quality, aesthetically-pleasing residential development where the functional use of space, construction and sustainability aspects have all been considered. The new building will meet the current building regulation requirements including a sustainable approach to energy and carbon emissions.
