New Warehouse and Distribution Centre for BDM

Robinson Kenning & Gallagher were appointed as Architects and Project Managers to design a new warehouse and distribution centre for Bridgewater Distribution & Management Limited (BDM). Offices and technical facilities were also part of the London 2012 Olympics relocation project.

Armada 1 is a large warehouse facility of more than a hectare in area with associated extensive unloading facilities and vehicle parking. The building is segregated into four zones with offices located adjacent to the main entrance. Security was an important element of the services design. The construction period was over twelve months and was completed on time to suit ‘The London Development Agency’s’ timescale.
