Total Refurbishment of Grade II Listed Lodge and New Additions
Strawberry Lodge is a Grade II listed building owned by the Baptist Property Board. Due to dry rot and general lack of maintenance the lodge needed to be completely renovated and the 1960’s extension (which was in danger of collapse) had to be demolished.
Strawberry Lodge was renovated in accordance with English Heritage’s requirements and a new Church and multi-purpose hall and facilities were constructed. The Hall has a community coffee lounge and meeting centre at the front with a gallery over.
The appointment was for a full Architectural service (including Engineering and Quantity Surveying) on a traditional contract. The works were completed in forty weeks.
