Redevelopment of Land at the Rear of the Fisherman’s Arms Pub, West Croydon for Webb Estate Management
Robinson Kenning & Gallagher recently achieved Planning Approval for a residential scheme of nine one and two-bedroom units on a challenging site in West Croydon.
RKG was engaged by Webb Estate Management to transform the underused land to the rear of ‘The Fisherman’s Arms’ public house into much needed residential accommodation for the Croydon/ Selhurst community.
The planning permission includes amenities such as cycle storage, balconies and shared communal garden space in addition to sustainable features, stormwater cells and photovoltaic panels.
The restriction imposed by the site location inspired an exciting red brick design that utilised many design features (large windows, open balconies with opaque screens, internal courtyard/amenity) to maximum effect.
