Detailed Design and Construction Support for the Housing Association element of CZWG-designed scheme for Arsenal Football Club
Robinson Kenning & Gallagher were introduced to this project at an early planning stage to work with the contractor, Durkan Housing Association and other consultants to construct the affordable housing element of the redevelopment of Arsenal football ground (The Emirates). Newlon Housing Trust developed the Affordable Housing element of the overall masterplan but extensive consultation was required between all parties, including with CZWG to ensure continuity of design.
The accommodation of this high-quality affordable accommodation building is for twenty-four units ranging from one-bedroom to six-bedroom dwellings on four, five and six floors. The affordable housing element is adjacent to one of the main entrances to the stadium and is clad in a striking combination of white render and zinc cladding.
