Feasibility and planning drawings/application for Eldon Housing Association Limited. Retained by the Contractor to produce detailed construction drawings and provide on-site support.
The project included the demolition of existing buildings and erection of a two-storey building with accommodation in the roof space comprising fourteen one-bedroom flats. This provides short-term accommodation for semi-independent living for people leaving residential care including formation of vehicular access and provision of associated parking. All the flats were designed to the latest London Housing Design Guide and Lifetime Homes Standards.
Eldon Housing Association Limited is a charitable Housing Association and is a specialist provider of affordable supported housing for the older people of Croydon. It has expanded its support services to include ‘Sheltered and Special Needs’ housing. It is a specialist in the provision and management of supported housing for older people whereby tenants can receive additional care or support services within their own self-contained flat from which they can enhance their own individual levels of independence.
