New Station Entrance and Station Improvements for South West Trains (SSWT)
Robinson Kenning & Gallagher prepared scheme proposals, working drawings and invitation to tender documents for the development of this South West Trains Flagship Station in Basingstoke. RKG were also employed to act as Project Managers and Supervisors under the NEC 3 Contract. Works included a new Station entrance building, upgrade of retail and Station facilities and the refurbishment of the existing clock tower and back of house areas.
RKG prepared 3D visualisations for Client presentations and assisted with obtaining ‘Permitted Development’ through Basingstoke & Deane Council. As Project Managers RKG were responsible for the coordination and install of SSWT third party specialist Contractors’ works such as CCTV, CIS and ticket gateline.
